i got no eyelashes (except on the bottom) bc i‘ve compulsively picked at them since i was a kid. sometimes my eyebrows too. i think it‘s a big part of the reason i became emo in high school bc to cover it up i would need to make my makeup dark and blocky af. i’m still pretty self conscious about it and i wear falsies a lot of the time but not as often as i used to!

👁started doing the whole thin eyebrow thing a couple years ago after bleaching them then redyeing and thinking they were too much. it's cool to an extent but i rewatched requiem for a dream and realized i need to have thick eyebrows again. having a strong point of the face is really special and fun

💇i've completely lost interest in what I look like. i used to be so preoccupied by what I wore and how my face looked as a teenager that it was exhausting. i was so concerned about getting my eyeliner perfect every time. making sure my hair was the best honey blonde but that i still had tool and choking victim patches on my backpack. turned 24 and kind of going feral mode #idgaf. i don't care about looking beautiful or cool. it's about being beautiful or cool on the inside

I had been doing it with makeup for Going Out purposes forever, and finally did it for real a few weeks ago. I was scared because frankly it’s the kind of thing a Confident Person does, and I ain’t one of those. But I did it, and it has forced me to be more confident in my appearance because I did something wacko to it and have received a lot of positive feedback and I feel mysterious and oOoOh LaLa and Targaryen.

tried this cake for the first time after making it for my bf’s birthday and it’s awesome. apparently a colombian staple that‘s pretty much a tres leches cake w chocolate shavings and cherries on top. sopping wet with condensed milk and cream. delightful

🥛i have no idea why milk isn't a valid flavor for treats like it is in china (see white rabbit candy). we always treat it like a neutral base ingredient to impose other flavors upon but it's totally a flavor all on its own!
