I go to concerts (especially local shows cause they’re cheap), vinyl nights at the local bar, volunteer at a non profit, karaoke nights and open mics (you don’t have to sing at all open mics, can do poetry or perform scenes from plays etc), some nights just put on a record and lie on the floor. Just whatever interests you is worth doing, 20s are for figuring out what you like in life.

if you live in a big city and you like live music/theatre there will always be stuff to go to that'll be the worst thing you've ever seen or the best, and it's fun to vibe on your own if your friends don't share your taste

You can do all of this stuff whatever age you are, most concerts are 18+ now.. simply observing the world while reading or sitting around can be incredibly entertaining also tbh

I love going to small affordable gigs featuring artists I’ve never heard of! I‘ve often found some musical gems that way 🥹. Bring a friend, grab some drinks, and if you don’t like it at least you can laugh about it!

I can’t think of a specific moment because I’m an endlessly awkward person. I think a lot of times when we’ve said the wrong thing upon meeting someone, or have a tendency to put our worst foot forward, we get too caught up in our own thoughts about it to recover. Let other people hold the awkward feelings for you, if they feel weird that’s their problem. But you don’t have to feel weird for trying to connect to others in your own way.
