im aware this is the ideal amount, but i think the more i strive to achieve this number perfectly, the more stressed i get with sleep and become sleep deprived.
i wake up in the middle of the night 90% of the time, my parents deal with this too, and one of my goals is to go back to sleep faster. tracking my sleep cycle puts me at sleeping for 7 hours a night and i feel fine. im actually proud.
once i let go of ā8 hours of sleepā, i feel like my sleep has gotten better
