my favorite place to go hiking around gnv! go see bison, wild horses, gators, deer and all the other creatures. bolen’s bluff is a great trail to go see the prairie and the scrub forest, and the boardwalk is beautiful at sunset
About 30 mins outside the city, easy hiking/walking and such a contrast (or a nice break) from the flash of Vegas. Got to see some ancient handprints in the rocks & wild burros strolling around
The curation of human interaction with landscape is really cool to me, and it’s really beautiful without feeling obvious, and I love the canal
I love Canyonlands for sheer scope and majesty !!!
i really want to go back to voyageurs soon as well for some conoe camping :)
Went out to Mansfield today and discovered a lovely nature trail! I spent a few hours walking the trails. Weather was perfect and it was nice and quiet out. Also it's bluebonnet season in Texas again! There were lots of clearings alomg the trail just covered in bluebonnets. Absolutely beautiful :) Things like this will always have a part of me in love with my home. Despite it all...
i went to loch ness today!! i’ve wanted to go there ever since i was a little kid reading my monsters and cryptids book from the book fair cause i was a freaky little spooky kid. did not see any monsters but i bought a little figurine from the nessie hunter guy in dore :)
