Okayyy one of my favorite songs of all time like top 5!!!! I'm pretty sure my ex showed me this song (thankfully I still enjoy all the music we shared with each other because it's GOOD and memories will not take hold of me.... except I still have a hard time listening to Arthur Russell) anywaysssss It goes so Hard.. The album, the band, everything, I'm surprised they only have 3,000 something listeners. Also, the album cover is perfect too 🤩 Perfect 90s angst. rock. Another one of my fav songs ever!!! I don't listen to Sleater-Kinney consistently, but I like the album Dig Me Out a lot, and this song in particular stuck out. 🤠Some of my favorite songs make me want to scream the lyrics and jump up and down, and this is one of those songs lol. I didn't know that Carrie and Corin dated briefly, and apparently, the song is about their breakup.👀 #respect also I loveeee Corin’s voice sm just all a round such a special song, and I will never ever skip it when it comes on🔂

🎵im sure u all know this but i never listened to broken social scene bc their name sounded like all the scramz bands my sister listened to when i was a kid that scared and confused and annoyed me but my friend eleanor showed me this song like 2 months ago when we were out on the porch huddling together for warmth and it is beautiful and devastating. i love when a song is so blunt that it feels like a lead pipe.

🤣I was inspired by a Righteous Gemstones quote, and now instead of saying gossip and lies, I've been using sayings like telling fables, tall tales, making dubious claims etc .. Yesterday my friend dropped "Yo bro you're peddling falsehoods right now" and it fucking killed me I don't know why this is so funny to me I woke up laughing about it. Anyways
