this is the first time any of my work has ever been published, I haven’t actually told any of my family or friends yet because it’s a rather personal piece (and I don’t think it’s very good. But like take this as your sign to put what you do out into the world and to check out this issue because it’s great.

Woohoooooooo! I feel like i post a fair amount abt the writing process or getting involved in writing on here so it's nice to see the fruits of my labor. And be validated! I wrote a story called "my fig, my plum" and it's def weird and gross but also funny and perhaps feminist. Was published by Sortes Magazine, which has a great lineup of work! check it out pleaseeee

always feels so wildly vulnerable, but i’m so grateful for the straightforward invitation to self promote :^) mine is largely essays/poems about grief, aging, and mundanity.

Such an incredible and underrated artist, discovered them through one of their older posts on here and I’m shocked that they aren’t more popular. Such a perfect mix between poetry and singing that is Grammy worthy.
