Woohoooooooo! I feel like i post a fair amount abt the writing process or getting involved in writing on here so it's nice to see the fruits of my labor. And be validated! I wrote a story called "my fig, my plum" and it's def weird and gross but also funny and perhaps feminist. Was published by Sortes Magazine, which has a great lineup of work! check it out pleaseeee

Everything is embarrassing anyways so just submit your writing somewhere people can maybe see it. This is my little horror vignette about a demonic possession in a Connecticut gas station! It's not at all perfect in my eyes, but it's also one of my favorite things I've done because it lives in the world and not just in a draft. And as a bonus I get to enjoy the design a cool editor invented to accompany my story and see it through their eyes on the page.

this is the first time any of my work has ever been published, I havenโt actually told any of my family or friends yet because itโs a rather personal piece (and I donโt think itโs very good. But like take this as your sign to put what you do out into the world and to check out this issue because itโs great.
