For this summer I manage to get some vacation from work and have planned a bunch of stuff, from festivals to trips with friends, and for fun I went to my local antique store/ market and got an āoldā point and shoot camera, just for the fun.
I didnāt do any research or whatever, just got what I felt was a great deal For some flash pictures in the concerts, and now I DONT TAKE PICTURES ANYMORE WITH MY PHONE
they look AMAZING, everyone is excited to take pictures and this specific model BARKS when you shoot. BRING BACK FHE FUN TECHNOLOGY

I got out my Sony Bloggie ā¢ļø that I hadnāt touched in 11 years (!) and itās perfect. I was thinking of wasting money on some new small non-disposable camera to participate in the awakened phenomenon of using a digital camera. I did have fun taking a trip down memory lane, there are pictures (+ versions) of myself I havenāt seen in forever. It was super cool.
ALSO the bloggie is just awesome! I got it as a gift to record youtube videos as a kid (lol). I carried it around like a phone and felt so mature, but itās also sooo cool thatās itās literally that small. The resolution is good, the USB is INSIDE the camera for charging/transferring data to a computer (no cables!), it doesnāt need SD cards at all, and you can just take it anywhere!. Iāve already taken selfies and blown my mind with how much fun iām having.
If u must purchase a cameraā¦maybe get a refurbished bloggieā¦.?
But use any of your old cameras pls. Beat the consumerism demon. Ur old camera is (probably) just as cool as mine

i miss shooting film so much )-: my camera stopped advancing mid summer and i picked up my mom's digital point and shoot out of convenience. it's fun but i miss anxiously waiting for my photo scans and hearing the tension of the dial as i physically turn it. over break i will revive my camera and eternalize my friends on porta 800 again
