I shoot with an olympus mju ii and even though it’s an expensive, impossible to repair camera (I’ve had to replace mine once already) I love this little point and shoot. it’s great for fun film pics but also capable of really stunning portrait work of my friends :)

Sorry, I've never really used film point and shoots, except for the Olympus XA1. I would die for the XA line of cameras.

Found mine in a stall at an electronics arcade in the Akihabara neighborhood in Tokyo last year. It’s been a delight figuring out how to use it and what kind of film it likes (Fuji film came out peachy as hell!). And in taking it to get repaired when the slide screencover broke, I had to find one of the last remaining camera repair guys in Chicago. Nothing like a piece of old tech to keep you on your toes! Shoutout to usergeneratedcontent for being my patient model.

one day i was on the work computer and i wanted to find more Fruits Magazines and came across dozens of pdfs on are.na!!! it's catered towards design and architecture students it's the loveliest tool as a casual internet user. it's self financed with premiums (no ads) plus it's minimalistic and easy to use - it organizes pictures, websites, and pdfs into these sections called channels. there is no algorithm it's purely based on hunter and gatherer vibes i started using it recently and have found countless channels of historical zines, 90s/2000s perfume ads, bare bone websites built with just html, old blogs, and so much more. i think perfectly imperfect and are.na are proof that the internet is well and alive! just attached one of the channels i follow it's a collection of vintage Japanese advertisements and graphics :*)

weird as in cool and eclectic and niche i follow an artist who works with mold, a guy who does art on Desmos, an old guy who makes milkshakes, a collector of Japanese photography, a ginger guy whose name i can't remember but they're super into ancient languages and translation, a number of fashion archivists and fibre artists, and more instagram will be more fun and you will scroll reels less

* waking up early. i know this is possible i am Done starting my day so late. i want to wake up early, clear my mind, and read for 15-20 minutes (another habit i've been trying to build) * more walks. i am surrounded by a number of trails and parks i pass by daily but have not personally ventured yet * a new album every day! i love listening to new music it fills me with so much joy especially an album all the way through which i believe is the Right way to listen to new music * writing ... not entirely journaling i realize i am not consistent enough for that but noting down present thoughts lists doodles words i like in a tiny field notes ... (ex. list of things im grateful for that day, month/day/year - love the way this sweater feels on me, tweet i would like to share but can't at the time) (yes, this is all possible in the notes app but i want to shift from the notes app to field notes) * knitting!!! getting back into the groove of fiber arts for a couple of minutes every day. i think the trouble is trying to find the motivation for it but i have to remind myself the reasons why i do it to begin with: leaving something tangible behind, inspiring others, furthering my identity and interests tentative habits list, more will be added!
