Another one of Maddie's fav songs!!! I'm not sure how I found this song, probs through spotify algorithm or something ... butt this song is amazinggg the keys and layering so good.... i love when I show someone a song and they fall in love with it too! showed this to my partner at the time and it became one of his favs too... i love sharing music!!! this entire album is really good I highly recommend! 💒

I could go on literally forever about how amazing and out there lemon demons music is, there simply nothing else like it
This song tells a story, one that I think is relevant now but really anytime, it’s not super serious but it‘s still deeply profound, a lot of his music is like this, lots of silliness with a real message underlying it, simply an incredible artist

I finally figured out how to play this on guitar instead of piano as it's constructed here (it's in a different tuning -- drop C, CGCFAD which is also what Nirvana's "On a Plain" is in)
I think it's Faces' greatest song, from among many candidates -- Rod Stewart basically isn't on it, he's barely on this album TBH -- it was written and sung by Ronnie Lane.

🤣I was inspired by a Righteous Gemstones quote, and now instead of saying gossip and lies, I've been using sayings like telling fables, tall tales, making dubious claims etc .. Yesterday my friend dropped "Yo bro you're peddling falsehoods right now" and it fucking killed me I don't know why this is so funny to me I woke up laughing about it. Anyways
