Watching the music video
Sometimes you listen to a song and you just don't get it. "Skip" you say. This was me when I first heard You Killed The Music by Debbi Dawson. Then I saw the music video and everything changed. I got it. Now when I play the song I'm transported to an ABBA-esque, sparkly, low resolution, kaleidoscope dream world. Sometimes you really just need a good visual to connect to a project.

Khalid - Ground (Visualizer)
Music videos are so underrated. I was watching a Sims 4 / Blendr edit and they used this song. It altered my brain chem. I love the tone of the lyrics??? Khalid tends to have this sense of whimsy and freezes a moment in time and really takes you there.

That one ok go music video
I just watched a TikTok (πŸ”—) OK Go made about making the music video for Here It Goes Again and it warmed my heart. Sometimes we become so familiar with something we forget how magic it is. I really love reminiscing early internet / YouTube stuff, and this sums up the silliness a lot I think. OK Go were truly ahead of their time! Fuck ur big budget mv!!
