We're in the time of year when they start popping up on the side of the road or the cracks in sidewalks, adding orange light to the summer landscape. Also they close up at night to go to sleep. How cute!

Sometimes you listen to a song and you just don't get it. "Skip" you say. This was me when I first heard You Killed The Music by Debbi Dawson. Then I saw the music video and everything changed. I got it. Now when I play the song I'm transported to an ABBA-esque, sparkly, low resolution, kaleidoscope dream world. Sometimes you really just need a good visual to connect to a project.

If you're anything like me, you're allergic to most everything outside and every animal in the world. I've found that if I don't take my allergy medication, I will get a bad post nasal drip, which then turns into a sore throat, and left untreated I will get a sinus infection. Now that I yet again have entered the sore throat stage (death), I remember the importance of taking my allergy medication.
