just discovered Jane removers side project venturing. idk if there could’ve been a better time to discover this album, right in the middle of a thunderstorm. this album currently has me so happy despite how grim it is. when I say grim it is fucking grim and gloomy but holy shit it’s so good. i havent been this excited for an album in a long time except for Alex gs upcoming album. the song something has to change had me tearing up. if you haven’t, go check it out asap.

New album from Jane Remover (under the name venturing) !!!!! my favorite songs are Play my guitar and Something has to change but I’ve only listened through twice. Actually, Dream Sequence is my favorite (one of her best songs ever imo) but it was released a while ago so I’m kinda disregarding it at the moment.

i'd been meaning to put aside some time to listen through marianas trench's new album haven for ages and what time better than while being absolutely pelted by rain in a red alert level storm! really added a fun little twist to the song lightning and thunder :P
in all seriousness though, another bop of an album from them, my top three songs from it would probably 'down to you' (lowkey obsessed icl), 'remember me by' and 'haven'!!

This album is perfect. I mean it. Perfect. They’re so under appreciated as a band and relatively unknown. Chances are you’ll be the only person in your friend group who knows of them — imagine how cool you’ll be when you introduce your friends to Sun June. Insane. They’ll worship you. They’ll say “oh _____ is so so cool and hot and smart!”
In all seriousness, this was the first album my daughter listened to after being born. Whenever I’m stressed or worried or anxious, this album is a hard reset for me. It’s sort nostalgic regret pop and well worth the listen.
