Went on a walk in a beautiful neighborhood last night with my headphones in. on my walk I passed another guy doing the same thing. Decided it’s the middle of a thunderstorm and looks so cool outside I’m gonna take a walk. religious experience with the right music.

🌳for years i’ve brought my headphones on every walk but recently been making more of an effort to be present in the moment in general. taking a wander and being able to listen to your surroundings makes the time feel more relaxed sometimes. love my tunes though just nice to choose mindfully !!

🎧went on a walk today and my headphones died 10 minutes in. at first i was horribly disappointed but i think it gave me exactly what i needed. when i walk with my headphones on but no music playing i can hear my breathing so clearly over the traffic and the people and jumble of noises it brings me back into my body. 10/10 recommend

just discovered Jane removers side project venturing. idk if there could’ve been a better time to discover this album, right in the middle of a thunderstorm. this album currently has me so happy despite how grim it is. when I say grim it is fucking grim and gloomy but holy shit it’s so good. i havent been this excited for an album in a long time except for Alex gs upcoming album. the song something has to change had me tearing up. if you haven’t, go check it out asap.
