I do this about twice a year, guzzling all the content and catching up on maybe 1 or 2 golden nuggets like party 4 u then deleting the app once i encounter the dark triggering stuff, like “this girl doesn’t know it, but…[terrible thing happens to her an hour later]”

I successfully deleted the app and went two weeks without it at all, but then I re-downloaded it to post for my social media plan for music and then got sucked back in again! I will stay up a minimum of an hour later when I’ve been stuck in a tiktok hole.

it’s the closest thing i’ve ever gotten to experience deleting and redownloading dating apps. great measurement/lowest bar/last resort that somehow works for declining mental states

I love it, even with the repetition and exhaustion. Unexpected benefit: losing sense of time. Every task, from feeding to putting her to sleep, takes as long as it takes. I’m not trying to control time or “be productive” in the same way I did pre-baby.
