Deleted Twitter today and then was like hey why don’t I delete TikTok too.
So far so good. kind of feels like I cut out junk food. Less brain rot and eye strain happening over here.
(unfortunately instagram feels too real to part with I don’t know why. but maybe one day...)

If you have ever even questioned if you should delete it, you should. I have been tik tok less since I’m not sure when, guessing at most like 9 months? And I feel like I’m receiving a normal amount of information everyday rather than information overload first thing in the morning. Our brilliant, yet fragile little brains were never made to look at a screen for so long. Go outside. However, it took me about 2 years to even consistently not have tik tok. I would delete it for about two days and download it right back, but I think if you’re stubborn enough- you can do it too :)

I do this about twice a year, guzzling all the content and catching up on maybe 1 or 2 golden nuggets like party 4 u then deleting the app once i encounter the dark triggering stuff, like “this girl doesn’t know it, but…[terrible thing happens to her an hour later]”
