my face is also quite sensitive but it does have the 2% salicylic acid so it may or may not work out. it does foam though. i also use moisturizer and anti-inflammatory products which helps with the sensitivity so really it depends. hope this helps!

99% of the time its good for my dermatitis prone skin (I say 99% because some days my skin just doesn't like anything), it doesn't break me out, and it keeps me feeling hydrated. I also think it's pretty affordable for the amount of product that you get

For a simple routine you only need a face wash and a moisturiser— if your skin is more oily than dry, try Glossier’s cleanser concentrate, and if drier, try Glossier’s milky jelly cleanser or Cera Ve’s hydrating facial cleanser. If you have acne prone skin, a face wash with salicylic acid will help. Then use a good moisturiser; Cera Ve’s Daily Moisturising lotion is my workhorse, and I use Beekman 1802 Bloom Cream at night or when dry. Use a good sunscreen; I use Supergoop Every Single Face watery lotion, but anything that you like the texture of and will use consistently is best. Do those three things for a month or two, and it will feel much easier to fold other things into your routine where you notice you need them— that may be a serum, a chemical exfoliant, or an active. If you get breakouts and want an effective spot treatment, La Roche Posay’s effaclar duo is the best thing I’ve used— it’s more effective than patches or stickers, and minimally drying. Do you have particular skin concerns (dryness, dark spots, breakouts, redness, etc.)?

I also have v dry, irritated skin and the way I have dealt with it is using a moisturiser that has a bit of hydrochloric acid in its formula, I use one from Garnier. it’s meant to be a night cream so it’s more heavy duty. I also use Vaseline in really dry spots and a rose water spray. Paula’s Choice have products that specialise in dry skin and it worked great for me. In terms of something more natural, the girlies say aloe vera oil is a great option, you can mix some into your moisturiser. But the one thing that did it for me was when I stopped using so many products. I don’t know what it was maybe I was mixing things wrong or overloading my skin but I only use an oil cleanser, a peptide serum and a moisturiser now. skin is doing a lot better. Good luck x
