I've been getting really into Lizzy McAlpine lately, ever since I heard her mentioned on Todd in the Shadows' Top Ten Hit Songs of 2023 list. Her first full album from 2020 is worth a listen if you like calm sad-girl folk-pop.

good song. gonna be so honest i wasn't even the biggest fan of it at first but i saw blondshell open for liz phair this past november (am i the luckiest girl alive or what) and really fell in love w it then. whew
Growing up I spent the summers with my grandparents in Texas and there were three specific treats I would eat with them: strawberries dipped in sugar ๐(with whip cream but I donโt have any) vanilla bluebell ice cream with hershey chocolate syrup ๐จand watermelon with salt sprinkled on ๐ I miss those summers so I will reminisce and eat strawberries with sugar today โฃ๏ธ
