I cannot describe how much I loved this movie. (Good) representation of down syndrom, found family, coming of age, unlikely friendships, what's not to love? Seriously it was so heartwarming, if you need a little pick me up then I'd definitely recommend~

Im only a casual Charlie Brown fan, ive flipped thru a few comic strips & only seen the holiday specials. i randomly put this on while i drove w my gf late on new years eve. everyone was inside celebrating so the roads were empty & quiet besides some firework. I didn’t expect this movie give me the same warm hug, nostalgic feeling as the originals. Then i find out it’s a tribute to schulz, written & produced by his son & grandson!! many bang on references to different scenes in peanut history: which i didn’t always catch but my gf did :) lots of love in the writing, animation, & voiceover..it’s just A feel good movie w plenty of wholesome moments i maybe teared up at (which is my favorite thing to do when I watch movies (& i do it a lot)) what can i say im Charmed!! overall great way to end the year we’ve already watched it a second time before bed to keep the calm& sweet energy flowing in the new year… a peanuts film series marathon is in order for me now Tldr Charlie Brown learns that being a winner means always being himself despite life conspiring against him. an absolutely delightful movie . paddington wins over basically everyone in the world with his kindness & sincerity & whimsy . features nicole kidman in an incredible campy villainess role & is a series of beautifully realized silly sketches that lead to paddington finding a home & family . fun & funny & emotional & sweet 🥲

This movie is a warm blanket for me. It’s fast, pretty, and has a happy ending, which I think are perfect ingredients for a comfort film!

'Boy parts', by Eliza Clark. It's like the female version of American Psycho though imo better. Woman in media are rarely allowed to be grotesque and unhinged without coming off as performative. I loved this book as it explored those topics in a very intriguing way, but fair warning it's pretty gruesome.

I get it, I also faced the same situation. Excelling at academics as a kid, sets you up to fail as an adult. This might sound harsh, but ultimately no one's going to come save you. No one's going to give you life changing advice, or offer you a reset button. My advise is to just live, start small, do the little things. Make pancakes, go on a walk, feed the birds, do the things that make you feel alive, you know? Somedays, you're just going to be able to get out of bed, and that's more than enough. You have a lot ahead of you, do let one bad time ruin it all. With love- Cherie
