sometimes painful but it gives me time to reflect and relax without a constant stream of information lighting up my brain. I feel it’s helping fix my brain chemistry
Even if you’re just doing the dishes or reading or whatever… my heart and brain feel so much more comfortable and alive when they really /can’t/ get dopamine from the stimulation box
.. when you're walking your dog, when you're waiting for someone to meet you, when you feel it buzz over an email, at any second you feel slightly bored and need to hit your dopamine button etc.etc.etc stop looking at your damn phone!!!
Ive been trying to not look at my phone for a hard hour after I wake up and turn my alarm off. And just….have a morning?? Does wonders for my pea brain!
