The world is extremely fast paced and sometimes we forget to breathe. Take a break every once in a while. Take your time while eating. Take your time while having a conversation. Listen to what the person in front of you is saying. Let it sit in your head for a bit and then give your answer. Cherish little moments. Once in a while reply to all the memes your friend might've sent you. Call up your loved ones. Walk slower, chew slower, breathe slower, read slower, scroll slower, write slower, type slower, drive slower. Do one thing at a time. Listen to an entire album while paying attention to every sound, every lyric. Listen to the crickets at night, the birds in the day... I guess I should stop now

Plant your feet. Take a deep breath. Wiggle your toes. Close your eyes. Feel the sun. Listen carefully. Cry a little. Play with your hair. Write it down. Ask why. Be human! Smile! Or don’t! Just be!

sometimes we really get ahead of ourselves. before we know it, we’re gasping for air like we forget our lungs need it. take a break from running to pause and breathe.

If you have a moment alone and are able to convince yourself not to rush. It feels really good to take a nonsensical path, slow and deliberate, and listen to the trees and spirits you come across, and not gaf if people think you move like a crazy person (helps to do it at night, but be safe always). Release yourself from the social norm of moving like you're always late for an errand

It's not in our hands sometimes but it's not cool to be surrounded by people who don't take anything seriously

Y'all ever write a word and suddenly it looks wrong? Like, the word just looks unusual. Then you cross it out and write it again but it's still the same cause the spelling is right but it looks so wrong! And so you repeat, but it remains the same and at that point you're agitated! What the actual fuck is wrong with me! And so you just ignore it and continue writing but it still bothers you. You look in the dictionary and the spelling is still the same and the word still looks wrong and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.
