Any friends or family in the middle of bumble frick that would be happy to house you for a long weekend?
A single- person tent costs as little as 30 dollars brand new or even less secondhand I recently found out.
Get the hell out of whatever city you’re in for a little bit and really decomfreakingpress.
Put your phone on airplane or look for new music on DND, read a book in bed on your stomach first thing in the morning then go for a walk in the woods. Dress like you're strolling Madison Ave to pick up a pack of hot dogs from the local Walmart. It’s very romantic to rest in the forest. And it makes the return to the city that much more relieving.

🌌i've been getting into scouting again in the last few months, partly because sleeping outside, freezing, getting dirty and just generally not having everything i need makes me feel human again.
you could go camping or just spend more time outdoors (and i mean like in actual forests and stuff, not your neighborhood or park [well who am i to judge, if that is what works for you its fine too])! reconnecting with nature always helps. oh, and definitely leave your phone at home!

Even if it’s just for the morning, get outside and take a lil drive to the lake/forest/creek/canyon or a little small town you’ve never seen. Bring a picnic make a playlist don’t forget to wear sunscreen! You will surely not regret sitting in nature and having a think.

Every day at some point every member of my nuclear family will send their song of the day, with or without context. Not everyone remembers everyday but it’s a practice we all are getting into and a habit we are keeping semi accountable to. On busy days it’s nice to have the playlist format so I can revisit everyone’s songs in an orderly fashion when I have the time To do so.
It’s great for infinite reasons.
