Getting over a crush

Went to a concert with her and it was cool and she’s great but idk, doesnt feel like the crush is reciprocated and that’s ok! She was a good friend first anyway. Plus saw hinge and bumble on her phone when she tried to show me something so hint taken haha. Obviously im just trying to convince myself im truly over her this time but I’d be surprised if im officially over it (my sister makes fun of how i go back to this friend once a week). This happened to a friend of a friend Guy matched with a girl on tinder and saw her on the train. spent The whole train ride deciding whether or not he should mention it. They get off at the same stop. Hes still deciding. After all, she hadn’t noticed him. When they get off, they also happen to to head in the same direction. theyre taking the same exit. Jubilant from the piling coincidences, he says hi to her as they go through the standing turnstile. She smiles. he tells her they matched on Tinder. Then the turnstile jams. They’re stuck together for 20 minutes. The girl’s smile turns to disgust. they never see each other again.

not the first date, technically

it was the second. he bought us tickets to see parasite and was sooo excited that the amc seats reclined. it's literally why he chose that movie theater. he even double-checked with the ticket girl that our theater would have reclining seats. she told him the theater number had changed, and we no longer had those types of seats. he was heart broken and angry. we found our seats, put our stuff down, and then he said he was going to go back and ask the ticket girl why we no longer had the reclining seats theater. i did not join him. then he answered his phone in the MIDDLE of the movie and talked for a few. it clearly wasn't an emergency. he even left for a few minutes to keep talking on the phone outside of the theater. when he came back, all he said was "what did i miss?" he never apologized for it. i should have left when he took the call but alas i still got dinner with him after
