The digicamās older big brother. Why waste time with VHS After Effects plugins when you could have the real thing? I have a Sony CCD-FX63 and I canāt believe I found it for $20 at Goodwill.

š¹Vintage stills and film cameras are cool, but this kids video camcorder has unironically found its way into my collection of cameras. Iām serious, I actually use this. Itās so fun, the quality has this weird 2000s vibe and feels like one of those millennial home movies.

i bought mine for like 30 bucks on the goodwill auction site. it shoots 480p which is easy to edit and doesnāt require a lot of storage space and it has an aesthetic that i just think is neat. bring it with you everywhere and record interesting things you see or do. when you have enough footage edit it into a video. make it funny, post it unlisted on youtube and send it to your friends to make them laugh.Ā

I got out my Sony Bloggie ā¢ļø that I hadnāt touched in 11 years (!) and itās perfect. I was thinking of wasting money on some new small non-disposable camera to participate in the awakened phenomenon of using a digital camera. I did have fun taking a trip down memory lane, there are pictures (+ versions) of myself I havenāt seen in forever. It was super cool.
ALSO the bloggie is just awesome! I got it as a gift to record youtube videos as a kid (lol). I carried it around like a phone and felt so mature, but itās also sooo cool thatās itās literally that small. The resolution is good, the USB is INSIDE the camera for charging/transferring data to a computer (no cables!), it doesnāt need SD cards at all, and you can just take it anywhere!. Iāve already taken selfies and blown my mind with how much fun iām having.
If u must purchase a cameraā¦maybe get a refurbished bloggieā¦.? But use any of your old cameras pls. Beat the consumerism demon. Ur old camera is (probably) just as cool as mine

āEverything in your life does not have to be subscription based, and subscription does not equate a service being good. If Iām paying $24.99 a month to watch Netflix in 4K UHD, I should expect to see what I pay for, not subpar playback latency, low bitrate streams, many app crashes, and overall looking terrible on anything that isnāt a 4K display.
Remember when you could buy things and own them, like, forever?
There is a better world out there past Netflix, Hulu, Spotify and Amazon Prime.
