My current trick:
Sell everything you don’t wear a lot on Vinted
Buy nothing new for a while (i havent bought anything new at all for the whole of January and intend to continue).
if there are things you really want keep a note of it. (generally a specific type of thing rather than one version is it which is probably just buying into a trend/branding). For example I am currently in the market for a good quality tight cotton striped turtleneck, preferably red and white and a basic skin-tight tshirt.
Use the money you earn from Vinted to shop around and find a high quality sustainable and/or second hand version of that thing.
Replace items in your wardrobe at a ratio of at least 5 sold things to 1 well made, repairable, timeless thing.
I am hoping to make getting dressed in 2025 so much easier.
