And getting clothes altered.
Got so many compliments on my outfit tonight and everytime I was like “ITS VINTAGE LAURA ASHLEY IT WAS £8 AND THEN I GOT IT ALTERED TO FIT!” I would never be able to afford to get things tailored if I was paying new prices, and id never afford such good fabrics. shoes are second hand Clarke’s real leather for £5. the shall I wore (not pictured) was literally free at a clothes swap. I never looked as good when I was buying new stuff I swear. Curating a wardrobe of well made second hand and vintage clothes is the best imo. It’s all real silk and real leather and wool and cashmere and cotton and it’s all SO CHEAP.
