Recounting a maxim a friend and I came up with on the subway home: Whatever you could call "Gen Z" is cleaved in two: were you first online on forums or were you first online on social media? If you are the former, you are something else, not quite millennial, attuned to it, but somewhere in between - a category not worth considering? If you were first online on social media? Call it a "generation" (though we should resist generational characterization in general!)

i'm a 90's baabbbbyy (b, b, barely)

okay, so I was born in 1998 but all my childhood memories stem from the early 2000's. am i a millennial fraud? iCarly, the Scholastic Book Fair, Blockbuster...you get the picture. i love imagining a simpler time before I was bombarded with every world problem at a moments notice. the past feels more comfortable and safe...that's why i'm embracing every bit of nostalgia i encounter. shoutout to @poolsuitefm for making me feel like a kid again

Delayed gratification with pictures

Film needs to make a comeback. Dark rooms, chemicals, film reels. I know polaroids are common nowadays but lets bring back disposable cameras, 35mm pocket cams, kodak developing centers at cvs. (Polaroid I took at a photoshoot 5 years ago.)
