Every time I take fun candids of my friends (on my phone) and send them immediately they hate the pictures so I’ve started waiting like a week to send them to them and they appreciate them more when they forgot they existed and have 0 expectations
I started using film more last year and it is so satisfying not knowing how the pictures came out until they’re developed. It almost feels like a short term time capsule lol. The warmth of the results is so much better than digital too imo
expensive nonsense but connects you to the photos more. breathes life into them. something to make images seem less disposable in an era of taking a picture of anything and everything
You should forget about your film rolls so that it’s a treat and surprise once you finally develop them
This, for instance, is from January. I got it scanned yesterday.
