Very very y/a vibe but it was one of my fa book Series growing up and and a pretty good movie
They actually filmed much of the movie in one of the towns I grew up in as well as true detective lol (south Louisiana)
the book is a comforting winding surfy 420 haze and I think the movie is decent too
(staying on this thread because this is also my fave genre of book and I need more)
