Sorry I’m doing 2 rec answers to this ask but I loooved this series in middle school. It’s about a dystopian society where kids grow up as “uglies” until they turn 15 or 16 when they undergo an extensive plastic surgery procedure to become “pretties” and live in a different area of the city. I love a dystopian society moment.
Netflix is adapting the first book into a movie starring Joey King. I have no idea when it’s coming out but I can’t wait
