This NYT piece from last year explains why it’s actually a Good and Normal thing to do. I used to have like six in the bed at once but recently culled my crew to two practical ones: this sleeping Charmander plushie, which I hug while I’m in the fetal position, and an Ugly Doll I put between my knees because it’s nice and flat. They're so comfy and I fall asleep in 30 seconds like this (also they’re cute and I love them)

Usually I respond with pictures of my current cat Bunny but here’s my sweet angel Dolly who I lost to FIP a couple of years ago (ft. her sister Bunny)! She loved to be my hat sitting on top of my pillow every night when I went to sleep and she had a very silly loving personality and loved to wrap her paws around your neck and give kisses on the lips. Very odd little duck and I miss her a lot ā¤ļøā€šŸ©¹

A photograph by AndrĆ©s Serrano, where we see a crucifix dipped in Serrano's urine. These two things on its Wikipedia page are sending me: ā€œSister Wendy Beckett, an art historian and Catholic nun, stated in a television interview with Bill Moyers that she regarded the work as not blasphemous but a statement on "what we are doing to Christ."[19] Beckett said that she was tempted to say that Piss Christ might be "comforting art" which she defined as art that was easy to have an opinion and react to.[20] She said, " ... they're not challenged in the slightest. Ninety percent of them think it's blasphemous, and few like me think, well, it might not be. It might be a rather ham-fisted attempt, to preach about the need to reverence the Crucifix. Not a very gifted young man but he's trying his best." "Real art," she continued, "makes demands."ā€ ā€œOn June 23, 2023, Andres Serrano was included among a group of artists invited to meet withĀ Pope FrancisĀ in theĀ Sistine ChapelĀ as part of an effort to "broaden out the engagement of the church with artists"...During this meeting, the pope blessed Serrano and gave him aĀ thumbs upĀ gesture of approval.ā€
