It’s scary to share your art, especially when you put so much of yourself in it
it’s scary to be vulnerable and to be judged for the work that you do
But at the end of the day, you make your art for yourself, and people sharing in that is just a bonus
I am nervous and terrified whenever I release new music, whenever I get up on stage, whenever I put anything new into the world, especially when it has my face, my name or my voice attached to it
But honestly, as long as I like the work that I’ve done, then everything else is secondary

I’ve struggled the last couple of years to share my music and art online but today I said “fuck it” and know I’m sending it to everyone.

😃and that’s okay! if you’re proud of your work, share it. it will connect with some people and not with others. I’ve had to deal with that uncertainty when my band has put out music. It sucks when some people don’t respond favorably, but it’s impossible to please everyone. At the end of the day, if you’re happy with what you created, that’s the most important thing.
