Look NYE sucks. Every party costs twice what it should, Theres so much pressure to go out until like 8am for no reason. I got sick day of NYE this year and for the first time in like 12 years didn't do anything, and it felt so nice for everyone to just be like oh dang feel better and watch movies until I fell asleep. sure you can just stay home but if ur a person who goes out like me getting sick (or saying you are I guess) instantly removes anyone of ur friends from pressuring you πŸ˜‚

I might be spending it alone in my room this year and i think i'm okay with that? pros: - cosy night in (imagine Jennifer Garner in 13 going on 30 with the face mask and all) + booze - i can get up the next day without a hangover and work on my film - do all the things I really wanna do: visionboard, ins & outs, journaling, ... - dance party, cinema all that at home - don't have to find a way to get home cons: - fomo I guess of other ppl being out and partying / the "experience" - dancing out all night - not kissing someone when the clock hits 0:00 sharing this feels stupid but also, not. like am I the only one? can't be right?

You can indulge more and stop as much as you want. Too tired? Go home! Don’t wanna go home? Stay out! Easy! :3

Recently I had something bother me so badly it was even affecting my sleep. I reached out to the person who it involved and we talked about it. It was a difficult conversation, I slept great that night. Unburdening yourself is hard, and necessary.
