My current addiction. It’s kind of like a slot machine but you can get better at winning.
There’s something about how distilled this game is. No narrative or world building, just the pure game mechanic and the tight rougelite gameplay loop. Kinda mathy because you need to do some multiplication in your head to figure out if your hand is gonna create a big enough score, but I’m very sucked in trying to make the ultimate broken combination of cards/jokers.
Scores potentially can get so big they need to be represented with scientific notation. I haven’t played too many other card builder games, though I did love Inscryption.
