I end up planning a lot of the agenda w friends and dates cus I’m interested in like new food spots and culture tings - whoever I’m with usually ends up happy so I don’t realize. But it feels so good to give up the reins + remember to be a passenger
And it’s important to totally sit back. Like no notes - yes let’s go to this random theater and see this random movie when I’ve been wanting to see a diff one. Genuinely so refreshing
As a chronic planner who needs to have things laid out AT LEAST a week beforehand, sometimes you need to let go of scheduling and say yes to going out and hanging with friends.
The past few days every single outing has been planned last minute and an absolute gem of my very enjoyable week. More dinners planned an hour before pulling up and walks around Tribeca ftw
Always great to have something to look forward to! Idk, I just love to know ahead of the time who I’m seeing and when, and what we’re doing, because it’s like the excitement of seeing them or going somewhere with them like builds up.
-Don’t get wifi on planes
-Look up from phone on bridges/around bodies of water
-Headphones actively taken out when there are buskers, street performers, preachers
-Phone fully powered off during movies
-Phone stays in pocket at concert
-Exchange phone number with a crush instead of Instagram
-No more than 2 cameras on a person blowing their bday candles out
-If you have find my friends only use it for emergencies
No problem with cyborg behavior tho if you’re owning it
In college I crushed on a guy with a mullet then realized I could just get my own mullet. Thought this dude in a bolo tie recently was so hot then I just started wearing a bolo tie. Surface level crushes are the perfect inspo source
