iām posting two lol bc this one is a true masterpiece. the main shot is 27-minutes long ā the siblings are mostly on a phone call, so they show who theyāre calling a few times but otherwise youāre watching that long take in one piece. you can feel the intensity and emotion of this scene through the screen. linking a cool break down of it by the director!

Recommending the show overall because itās probably my favorite ever, but this is a notable episode for me because it explores a core theme of the series: your family members are just people. The episodeālike most in the seriesāhas many subplots, but I care most about Claire visiting her aunt/Ruthās sister Sarah in Topanga Canyon. At the end thereās a beautiful, silent understanding between mother and daughter during a tense, tumultuous time in their lives. There are other episodes that really get to the meat of their dynamic, but this one stays close to my heart because of its subtlety and, of course, Joni Mitchell.

when i say HARROWING IN ITS PROBABLY VERY ACCURATE DEPICTION OF WHAT THAT MOMENT FEELS LIKE...i don't need my imagination stirred like that... please. should probably win the golden lil nude statue for that scene alone

unions help address racial and gender pay gaps, issues workplaces impose on families and those having kids, addressing unsafe conditions, plus things like better health insurance, wages and overtime, weingarten rights to representation, and more!!!
