i'm sorry but... when i say HARROWING IN ITS PROBABLY VERY ACCURATE DEPICTION OF WHAT THAT MOMENT FEELS LIKE...i don't need my imagination stirred like that... please. should probably win the golden lil nude statue for that scene alone

i’m posting two lol bc this one is a true masterpiece. the main shot is 27-minutes long — the siblings are mostly on a phone call, so they show who they’re calling a few times but otherwise you’re watching that long take in one piece. you can feel the intensity and emotion of this scene through the screen. linking a cool break down of it by the director!

less attachment to identity markers and more-sensory driven living/being. staying conscious and in touch with our core essence and saying yes to life when the forces that be make it very easy to say no and cut ourselves off from others and the rest of the world. embodying this truth can ignite a sense of freedom and liberation that is a sexy balm...if you are into that kinda thing

nothing short of a spiritual advisor. here he is illuminating a truth I believe we all feel to be true when down and out but often forget/neglect out of allegiance to self-pity or the traps of misery. this could almost read as a hallmark card quote, but it exists elsewhere...so by default, it is its own thing.
I do not mean to be sentimental about suffering— but people who cannot suffer can never grow up, can never discover who they are.

do a giant wave to the birds in the trees, give your lungs a jolt & inhale that crisp morning air, instant cold plunge without the water and you feel ALIVE AND HERE
