Suspiria (the OG 70's version) is such a good avante garde horror film to introduce urself to that side of cinema And Hereditary (a big big personal favorite of mine) and Men (another avant garde film but from 2023)!
Probably one of my favorite horror movie ever watched, and Iโm a fan of this genre which is I think is a pretty difficult one to master . I remember feeling totally invaded by its atmosphere after having watched it, which is a great sensation. I loved the pace, and the precision of everything including the art direction , the music, colors, the acting and the way terror slowly meddles as the movie goes.ย
