now that spring is arriving in nyc I’ve started to go sit and work on the terrace at my office after lunch for an hour or so. photosynthesizing (especially with a fun bevy) makes me feel sooo re-energized and reaffirms my gratitude to live where I do
soak up the vitamin d and the fresh air in the most convenient way you can (if you live in an apartment with a balcony)
this simple shift is a game changer and i need to have a few minutes/hours just sitting and existing on the balcony to ground myself and actually enjoy the privilege of my balcony??? (haven't done this in a while)
go sit on the curb or in the grass or under a tree and try to find enjoyment in nourishing yourself! it doesn’t have to be sunny (but it helps), just being out in nature for a few minutes and not under indoor lighting all day is so healing!☀️
