This doc went home to his baby daughter and saw that his wife put up glow stars on the ceiling of her room. He thought to himself “damn, I wish cancer would just glow and I could get it out with my cancer slashers”
So doc returns to the lab and cooks up some glow juice. A few tests later and my man has done it! You get an IV of glow juice before surgery and then invite the docs to your cancer disco.
My mom is in the midst of her cancer disco-ectomy this morning and the DJ is Dr. TumorGlow himself. I am so proud and hopeful

getting experimented on

i love signing up for research studies without knowing anything about them and just going to get my blood drawn and hair and saliva collected for an afternoon in exchange for an 85$ gift card… i am the ideal lab rat because i am willing to do anything. put me in that maze! (i signed a form and now my biomaterial legally belongs to the university)

BEING UNSERIOUS IN A HOSPITAL

The only way to take the fear out of medicine is by taking a stupid pic before going under, say it was because you went to Atlantic City w Lois Griffen or you tried to outsmoke the eraserhead baby. My personal favorite is saying these are the consequences of stealing Bobby Hill’s purse.

Being unpaid animal security

My husband and I had thought a devoted pair of mourning doves come to splash in our pool while we swim laps because they recognized we are cool to hang with. Then we realized it‘s because they figured out the hawk that hunts from our roof wouldn’t attack them with us there. I hope they tell the bunny family we are stellar guards. I wanna whole coterie like a Disney princess.

Depends

Antidepressants have worked in the past to dig me out of acute depression, but my big monster is the anxiety. A daily beta blocker for the anxiety has helped me work on what I need to in therapy. A process still but getting somewhere.
