And here’s the part where I come clean: that cat (Scylla) and her brother orangeboi Charybdis went to my ex years ago. But I still miss them so direly I’m out here using photos on internet accounts 😿😿😿

tortitude Aww, I’m sorry about the custody arrangement - I ended up losing my cats that way years ago, we split them up at first (they weren’t a sibling pair) but it was clear that my Dante missed her brother and I was the only one willing to do what was best for them. You know you’re a pet parent when you’ll sacrifice like that for their happiness.
And yes she chirps! I’ve had cats since childhood but never a calico before and she’s the first kitty to ever ”talk” like that.
