My alternative to the BECSPK has variables to it depending on your circumstance, so bare with me. First, the deli variation is pretty much as it is listed above. The Boar's Head chipotle mayo is optimal. Sometimes I don't say salt and pepper if I feel like I'm talking too much, but I hope you get it out. Paired with an energy drink (C4 blue flavor preferred, sugar free Red Bull allowed). Now, the at-home recipe. First, I season the scrambled eggs before placing on a hot pan. The at-home seasoning includes not just salt & pepper, but additionally adobo and onion powder. Additionally, it is hard to gauge the right amount of chipotle mayo to give yourself, and if you do too much it can make you feel like you ate a burger for breakfast. I personally prefer to only get chipotle mayo when I get the bagel at a deli so that I am more open to receiving joy from others when offered throughout the day. So at home, I always do hot sauce on my bagel, and the key is to never use the same hot sauce two days in a row. Vary it. Get weird hot sauces. Paired with coffee. The purpose of all of these rules serves a single philosophy: a breakfast sandwich and beverage should have a kick, both physical and mental. You should start your day with a metaphorical kickstart to your heart so that you're both pleased and alert.

Got a dozen of these fuckers chilling in the freezer and have been living like a king. Been making eggs with dill, scallion, and cilantro wrapped around melty havarti like a cozy blanket. I added some bibimbap sauce I made for dinner the previous night and it’s the perfect spicy/sweet/savory condiment and adds even more sesame seeds to the experience. This beauty was so sloppy and indulgent I had to take my glasses off and unbutton my pants to fully enjoy it 😮‍💨

On either an every bagel or bakery sourdough, lox, avocado, chevre/goat’s milk cream cheese, and capers— my bagel shop does seasonal veg, so this might have radishes or pickled red onion, and if I make it at home I add bacon and a fried egg— it’s nutrient dense, salty, and I don’t eat anything else until dinner.
