Going out and buying grocery store sushi from the grocery store a block away at 9 pm because your roommate has had a rough as fuck day, you have little in your fridge, and rough days are not meant for sad leftovers. Grabbing a couple of the sets that look good from what little is left in the store and just sharing them all straight from the containers.
And even more delightfully getting to watch her go from tense and ready to throw fists to whistling on her way to the shower. Good food really does heal people. I love knowing how to be helpful and having the means to do it!

when i was severely depressed my roommate (who didn ’t know i was depressed) surprised me with a bowl of instant noodles while i was studying and i burst into tears. she was very confused but kind about the whole thing. comfy memory.

I am a Carnation HC mix fan like everyone else HOWEVER there is something so pleasant on a miserable cold wet day about warming up the milk and cocoa powder and brown sugar on your stovetop in a cute little pot :) (also I like to use my handheld frother right before serving/enjoying)
