I am a Carnation HC mix fan like everyone else HOWEVER there is something so pleasant on a miserable cold wet day about warming up the milk and cocoa powder and brown sugar on your stovetop in a cute little pot :) (also I like to use my handheld frother right before serving/enjoying)
heat up some milk, add in chopped chocolate bar or chips, a little sugar, a little cayenne and orange zest, stir it on the stove. DONT forget the milk frother or whisk, ESSENTIAL to the texture.
such a cute thing to do for yourself, sometimes ill make a big batch at night, drink some of it, then store the rest in a pitcher in the fridge to make a mocha with the next few mornings.
i like to microplane some of the blanxart bar chocolate into whole milk in a small sauce pot. i put mini marshmallows in my cup and pour the hc over so they clump together. And i use a spoon so it’s kind of like a marshmallow soup. Literally waiting for bed time so i can have my allotment today
