Short story collections are good because they relieve the pressure of having to finish a novel: you can sorta weave in and out of a collection according to the pace of the day.
Cash's stories are very funny, absurd and surreal, and about social media, tech, and (I believe) the ills of Modernity. Might even teach a few stories to my students.
