📽My Texan girlfriend introduced me to this beautiful experience. Speaking from personal experience, if your northern sensibilities make you believe that skillet queso is not the perfect accompaniment to cozy seats and the silver screen, you cannot be more wrong. Currently hoping that our DC theatre will still have the witches brew for me to sip on as I rewatch wicked for the fourth time.

🎞What I love about nyc is the infinite amount of screenings there are for all types of movies — I think of it as an event more than anything! Feels way more fulfilling than just catching a film that just came out at an amc or whatever. The theaters r so much more intimate! And then you’ll watch happy together 1997 and the colors will be so beautiful n bright and you’ll cry and feel the same way someone did after seeing it 20+ years ago!

📻Been tuning into college radio stations for schools I don't go to; an interesting window into someone's life and taste. Been using this website to tune into different stations across the country. Recently heard a DJ on the UVA station say "Reach out to that person you miss," then immediately spun a gorgeous acoustic guitar instrumental I had never heard before.

One of the more underrated Dylan records from an underrated era from him. Some beautiful songwriting of course, but it's worth the listen mostly for the vibes. There's a southwestern country sound in this that makes me feel like I'm pulling into a desert motel in a beat up pickup during a long roadtrip.

🌃While it's common for me to get home on a Friday or Saturday night (or should I say Saturday or Sunday morning) after midnight, it has been a little bit since I've been out until past 4; forgot how refreshing it was. The world is empty, the Uber drivers are insomniacs, and there's some excitement in knowing that the sunrise is fast approaching.
