Investing in a good shampoo and conditioner is key when you have bleach blonde hair in recovery from blasting it with one of those round brush blow dryers the kids on TikTok like to make fun of. I donāt really believe in sustainable consumer goods but this Davines shit is amazing and it comes in ābiodegradableā packaging that you can throw in the garbage instead of pretending to recycle it.

itās definitely a little pricey but itās definitely worth it. they have a bunch of different shampoos for whatever your hair needs. i use momo which is for dry hair and it smells so good. so worth the splurge imo and it lasts pretty long!

šI always turn to VO5 shampoo or the green Suave bottle. Sometimes you need your head to be fresh and clean and this is what shampoo is for. But I donāt really understand paying large amounts of money to degrease my hair. VO5 is a good way to fly under the radar and it provides really consistent results. Every time I use a shampoo thatās weird or nice I never know what Iām going to look like when I wake up. I specifically enjoy the strawberries and cream flavor of VO5, I like seeing the picture of the strawberry on the bottle and I like the Pepto Bismol color. Iām remembering now too that this is what my dad and grandfather both used to buy for me and I think thatās cute.

š«§But Iāve been washing my hair like daily or every other day with a color safe shampoo and conditioner instead of trying to extend time between washes. I tried everything but I feel like thatās just hateful guidance for me because i have fine hair but itās incredibly dense and I have a LOT of it. Iām constantly bleaching and coloring it because Iām a hair model and I havenāt gotten in trouble with my stylist so i think itās going wellā¦. unfortunately canāt say the same about my hot styling brush usage he said those are canceled š RIP because I still donāt know how to use a round brush to this day

š²Iām from Vancouver where the only cute thing to do is ride bikes by the ocean. During covid lockdowns, I realized you can kind of do the same thing in NYC. I like to take a Citi Bike along The East River to Battery Park, and then up to one of the west side piers if there's time. This makes for a cute date if you want to pack a picnic, but Iām usually late and lazy so I just end up going to a restaurant in the village after the sun goes down. Last time it was Genes.

Theyāre heavy and sexy and silver and used by people who actually know how to make clothes. Iāve been ācustomizingā my wardrobe for years but itās only recently that my raw hem skirts and sweaters arenāt totally jagged and wonky. Itās called maturity, girls.

š I have a full time job and live in Manhattan so thrifting isnāt an option for me, which is sad because I think the best-dressed people buy the majority of their clothes from thrift stores. Thankfully thereās Poshmark, a place where you can peruse the closets of Floridian housewives and Las Vegas showgirls from the bathtub. Pro tip: online shopping is a brain massage made better accompanied by bad TV. I recommend pairing low ball offers with the latest season of 90 Day Fiance, or Gossip Girl reruns (the original series, not the new one)āif youād like to feel especially numb.
