Ghost whisperer

Early 2000s network TV cozy comfort trash like Gilmore Girls or a Hallmark movie but with episodic story of the week drama, ghosts, and a main character who has a fraught relationship with her mother.
She owns an antique shop in a small town in Upstate New York and she and her loyal doting EMT husband are renovating their fixer-upper starter home. She sees ghosts and in every episode she meets a new one and has to guide them to the other side. I cry every time.
Jennifer Love Hewitt is so beautiful and charming and they put her in the cutest little outfits. I’m watching it on Pluto TV while I work (which I accidentally revealed to everyone when I was unexpectedly asked to present in a Teams meeting last week 🎉)

this is the most interesting premise a show had since ages. i love medieval stories and i haven’t seen many shows that are set in this period that are comedies
SHERLOCK
ik everyone has already seen this show, but i could watch this show a 100 times and i wouldn’t get bored.

shows from my childhood

i’d always watch psych, castle, and white collar with my parents and they’re just soooo good. psych is abt this guy who has v amazing observation skills and pretends to be psychic to work w the police to get out of trouble w them lol. v good and it’s just like, what happens when the bit goes too far
castle is abt a writer who works w a hot lady detective and its v will they won’t they energy. super fun in nyc
white collar is my FAVORITE i rewatched it with my partner a few years ago and its just mwah! matt bomer and willie garson (rip <3) are con men working w the fbi, also in nyc, to solve v slay artworld adjacent crimes. matt bomer plays an art forger who is insanely skilled at his craft. it’s not violent rly it’s just fun and quirky and i’d highly recommend

most of the time it’s internet archive but i’ll take anything (to a point obviously i actually have some standards for illegal websites) i’ve actually been so successfully recently though so try it won’t work really for newer films which obviously makes sense but if you don’t want to pay like £10 for a film that isn’t really on many streaming services then try this and you might win
