I think the characters in the Mentalist are fun. Simon Baker is a good lead as well. The long overarching story is quite fun too. Had a lot of fun doing a watch of that whole thing last year.
Young Sheldon is actually good once you get past the Jim Parsons narration. If you're predisposed to liking sitcoms, I think you'll dig. I watched like eight episodes in one night the other day.
I lowkey love procedurals/copaganda TV so honorable mentions are: Elementary, original CSI (you'll recognize everyone), Lucifer and Without a Trace.
