The other day I laid face down on my friend's mattress after our sesh, hoping her two cats, Gaston & Fawn, would come out to see me. I felt the actions I took were extremely delayed, and as I looked up, Gaston, the little ginger one, was right in front of me. I pet him and immediately understood why the ancient Egyptians loved these little fellas so much. That interaction with Gaston felt religious.

went to a cinema club - this is what it's all about. community is real! even in the city! it's not all over. i watched natural enemies and boxing helena with my friend and ally charlie. the first was awesome, the second was less so - but arguably more fun. sherilyn fenn is not a star, she is something else entirely.

🫠I never thought about it this way, wow. As a neurodivergent person with plenty of disorders, I longed to become normal. I wanted to be like the rest and not question my existence and my sanity, but these apps that are meant for my betterment always felt like a forced ritual. I want to get better but I have to give myself more grace.

How much do we limit ourselves by believing we deserve less? Has our love and desire for convenience killed our ability to appreciate and enjoy our process?
